Our pet boarding center is your pet’s home away from home!
Village Park Animal Hospital is a full-service boarding facility in beautiful La Quinta cove offering boarding services for dogs and cats. The bed and biscuit has a variety of boarding options available for your pet’s needs. A spacious mountain view patio area is available for the dogs to stretch out and play with boarding attendants. Your pet will feel at home away from home!
All of our boarding residents enjoy personalized attention, a trip to our mountain view patio 4-5 times a day, and a comfortable place to rest.
In addition to this, our Suite residents also enjoy a complimentary Romp in the Park each day.
Special Extras
These additional services can be provided for your pet as requested:
- Romp in the Park – a relaxing walk in the park with one of our boarding attendants
- Mountain Patio Playtime – 15 minutes outside to soak up some sun, play with toys, or just get some individual attention from our staff
- Cuddle Time – Individual attention from one of our attendants in their own accommodation
- Nail Trim – shorter nails mean less scratching or digging at home

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Information
Although our boarding staff is here seven days a week from 6 am to 9 pm, we do have more limited hours to be able to drop off and pick up your pet so that we can best care for all our residents.
Our hospital is closed on Sundays so we are unable to offer pick-ups or drop-offs, thank you so much for understanding!
Please come by any time during the following hours:
Monday – Friday: 9 am – 7 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 4 pm
Once a month we have a hospital-wide staff meeting to ensure we are all providing the best level of care and service. As a result, we are closed from 12 pm – 2 pm on the first Friday of the month. If you need to pick up or drop off during this time please let us know ahead of time so that we can be prepared for you!
Requirements
Vaccines must be current in order to board with us. If your pet has a vaccine waiver or letter of exemption from their doctor, we do accept signed copies of those instead. We require proof of this to schedule the reservation.
Dogs: Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza
Cats: Rabies, FVRCP
Understanding Our Charges
Drop off: Full day charge when dropped off before 12pm, half-day charge after 12 pm
Pick up: Full day charge when picked up after 12pm, half-day charge before 12 pm
